1. Information We Collect
When you use FundCite, we collect the email address you provide when creating an account, usage data such as the number of queries you make and feature interactions, and your query history — the questions you ask and the funds you research.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the service — authenticating your account, processing your queries, and maintaining your watchlists — and to improve the product by understanding how features are used and where the experience can be better.
3. Data Storage
Your account data and query history are stored in Supabase, hosted on US-based infrastructure. Queries are processed using the Anthropic API to generate research responses. Conversation history is not stored across sessions. When you sign out, your chat history is cleared and is not retained on our servers.
4. Third-Party Services
FundCite relies on a small number of trusted third-party providers: Stripe for payment processing, Anthropic for AI-powered query processing, and Supabase for database and authentication. Each provider handles data in accordance with its own privacy practices.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your associated account data is deleted.
